By now, you may have noticed that when you view a list of pages in the Content area, there is a check box next to each Page Title. The check box enables you to perform a specific operation to multiple pages at one time without having to do it manually to each page.
For example, let’s say you want to unpublish several pages. You could open up each page in Edit Mode, scroll to the bottom of the page, and click on the “Unpublish” button for each page, but this would take a lot of clicking if you needed to do that with several pages. You can use the Operations feature to perform this operation at one time to multiple pages.
When you are on the Content Listing page (get there by clicking on the “Content” link in the black horizontal bar at the top of the page), locate the pages you want to un-publish and click on the checkbox next to the pages you want to unpublish.
Next, click on the dropdown under the “Operations” field, select “Unpublish” and click on the “Execute” button. You will see that the “Yes” in the “Published” column beside each page you checked has changed to “No” and that all of these pages are now unpublished, that is, they are no longer visible to constituents on the live website. You may want to try the “Publish” option to put them back.
