How do I embed a YouTube video in the website?

You must acquire the code for a YouTube video. Start by going to YouTube ( and selecting the video that you want to post on your site.

Click the Share button below the video.

A new window will appear below. Select the Embed button to get the code for embedding the video into your website content.

This window will expand further, and you will be able to select options such as pixel width. After selecting your options, highlight the code that displays in the window and copy it.

NOTE: When embedding YouTube videos,  you will need to insert an extra element into your embed code at the end of the YouTube URL to make sure the video displays behind dropdown menus.

You will need to add the following to your embed codes:

For example, this is the starting embed code:
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="//" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

The code needs to be edited to include the red text below:

<iframe width="560" height="315" src="//" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Once you have the code, log into your Constituent Gateway Website and go to the section you want to add the video to and open the editor.

Click the Source button that appears in the upper left, and paste the code into the editor. Click Save.
